Responsibilities & Context

Role Overview:
Responsible for sourcing, procuring, and ensuring timely delivery of trims and accessories from local and international vendors, while maintaining cost efficiency, quality, and compliance with buyer requirements. The role includes vendor negotiation, order processing, monitoring supply chain operations, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing & Procurement: Source fabrics, trims, and accessories from local and overseas vendors.
  • Quotation & Negotiation: Collect price quotations and negotiate with vendors on pricing, lead times, and Incoterms.
  • Order Processing: Prepare and issue work orders according to material requirements.
  • Commercial Coordination: Collect Proforma Invoices (PI) and coordinate with the Commercial Department for L/C, TT, or FDD processing.
  • Delivery Monitoring: Track and follow up on delivery status to ensure timely supply.
  • Vendor Evaluation: Invite vendors for discussions on quality, price, and after-sales service; assess suppliers and provide recommendations for management approval.
  • Cost Control: Monitor procurement expenditures to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to secure reliable sources.
  • Buyer Requirements: Serve as the primary contact for woven buyers’ requirements related to trims and accessories.
