Executive / Sr. Executive - Product Development

8–10 years of relevant experience in the food manufacturing sector, with at least 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Product Development or R&D.

Candidates with experience in dairy products or frozen dessert development will receive preference.

Strong understanding of ISO 22000, Quality Management Systems (QMS), regulatory requirements, and sensory evaluation techniques.

Good technical expertise in food-grade colours, flavours, ingredients, and their practical applications in new product development.

Manage new product development activities from initial concept and formulation through packaging, costing, scale-up, and final commercialization.

Prepare product cost calculations, oversee R&D budgets, and support profitability improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Conduct market, consumer, and competitor research to identify potential opportunities for innovation and product differentiation.

Develop packaging specifications, assist in sourcing high-quality raw and packaging materials, and ensure proper compatibility between products and packaging.

Work closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure product development projects are completed successfully and within planned timelines.

Ensure products comply with relevant food safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including FDA, ISO, and Halal requirements.

Promote continuous improvement by minimizing waste, optimizing product development processes, enhancing product quality, and improving operational efficiency.

Develop annual new product development strategies, project schedules, and budgets while tracking progress against established objectives.

Develop and maintain SOPs, process flow diagrams, technical specifications, product dossiers, work instructions, and other essential technical documents.
