Executive / Sr. Executive, MIS

 

 

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data validation, charts, logical functions, and data cleaning.

• Experience developing regular reports, KPI trackers, and Excel-based dashboards.

• Strong analytical, data validation, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to consolidate data from multiple departments and regional or area offices and follow up on incomplete or inconsistent submissions.

• Knowledge of Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools will be an added advantage.

• Familiarity with ERP, HRIS, sales management systems, inventory platforms, or structured databases is preferred.

• Good documentation, time management, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.

• Ability to handle confidential business and employee information with integrity and discretion.

 

Job Context

Vivo Bangladesh is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional for the position of Executive – MIS & Business Analytics. The role involves consolidating business data, preparing accurate and timely reports, and developing dashboards to support management decisions. The selected candidate will coordinate with relevant departments and regional teams to maintain reliable MIS databases, KPI reports, and performance dashboards across assigned business functions.

Key Responsibilities

MIS Data Management

• Gather, consolidate, clean, verify, and update business data received from relevant departments and regional or area offices.

• Maintain organized MIS databases, master files, reporting templates, and data dictionaries as assigned.

• Detect missing, duplicate, inconsistent, or unusual data and work with the respective teams to correct discrepancies.

• Ensure proper version control and prepare reports using authorized and verified data sources.

Reporting & Business Analytics

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering assigned business KPIs and operational performance.

• Create and update Excel-based dashboards and visual reports, using Power BI or similar tools where required.

• Evaluate business trends, performance variations, gaps, and exceptions, and summarize key insights for management.

• Prepare customized reports and data summaries based on requests from the line manager or authorized management.

Sales & Retail Operations Reporting

• Compile sales, retail, distribution, target-versus-achievement, and outlet or area performance data within assigned areas.

• Monitor relevant KPIs, campaign and incentive results, and operational performance indicators according to approved reporting guidelines.

• Coordinate with sales, regional, and area teams to ensure accurate, complete, and timely data submissions.

Data Governance & Coordination

• Comply with approved reporting schedules, data standards, access permissions, and information-security policies.

• Protect the confidentiality and accuracy of company, customer, partner, and employee information.

• Document reporting procedures and recommend ways to minimize manual errors and repetitive tasks.

• Perform other related MIS and business analytics responsibilities as assigned by the line manager.
