✔ Good understanding of hazardous (DG) and non-hazardous (Non-DG) chemical handling, particularly textile chemicals and related chemical products

✔ Proficiency in ERP, WMS, or other inventory management and warehouse management systems

✔ Good understanding of apparel and textile industry practices, commercial operations, and supply chain processes

✔ Strong negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills

✔ Excellent command of Bengali and good business-level English communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Context

A reputed Japanese textile chemical company operating in Bangladesh is looking for competent and responsible professionals to support its chemical business operations at BSEZ, Araihazar, Narayanganj. The company is engaged in the import, export, storage, distribution, and supply of textile chemicals and related chemical products

The selected candidates will be responsible for commercial operations, order processing, bonded warehouse management, inventory control, import-export documentation, and supply chain activities, depending on their experience and suitability for the position

The role requires close coordination with customers, banks, Customs and Bond authorities, warehouse teams, logistics service providers, and internal departments to ensure safe, compliant, accurate, and timely business operations

Key Responsibilities

✔ Receive, verify, and process customer orders and coordinate inbound and outbound shipment activities

✔ Prepare and issue shipment instructions, commercial invoices, packing lists, delivery challans, and other required commercial documents

✔ Review and scrutinize Letter of Credit (L/C) terms, identify discrepancies, and coordinate necessary amendments, corrections, or clarifications

✔ Handle documentation related to Local L/C and Back-to-Back L/C and follow up on payment realization and related commercial processes

✔ Manage and maintain documentation related to bonded warehouses, import-export activities, Customs, Bond, and other regulatory requirements

✔ Ensure compliance with applicable bonded warehouse regulations, import-export procedures, Customs requirements, and chemical handling standards

✔ Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory and stock records through ERP, WMS, or other relevant inventory management systems

✔ Monitor stock movement, inventory levels, receipts, issues, transfers, and dispatches to ensure proper inventory control

✔ Conduct regular inventory reconciliation and support inventory reporting, stock verification, and system control activities

✔ Coordinate with banks, customers, Customs and Bond authorities, warehouse teams, logistics providers, internal departments, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth commercial and supply chain operations

✔ Maintain proper records and documentation to support audit, compliance, inventory control, and commercial operations

✔ Ensure all assigned commercial, warehouse, inventory, and supply chain activities are completed accurately, safely, and within required timelines
