Responsibilities & Context

Air Freight Customer Service & Documentation

The role focuses on supporting business growth and enhancing customer retention by delivering efficient, proactive, and high-quality service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction, operational accuracy, and overall business success.
  • Respond promptly to emails from overseas offices and customers, ensuring replies within 24 hours.
  • Confirm bookings with customers and coordinate cargo stuffing with internal teams.
  • Liaise regularly with third-party vendors to guarantee smooth operational execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with air carriers to facilitate efficient shipment handling.
  • Assess and understand customer requirements, including shipment types, volumes, and service expectations, to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure proper handover, cargo stuffing, and smooth shipment execution in line with customer expectations and company standards.
  • Prepare and send loading details, Dummy Air Waybills (AWBL), and drafts accurately and on time.
  • Maintain effective communication with overseas offices and agents to ensure smooth shipment coordination.
  • Develop strong customer relationships by understanding their business, industry trends, and logistics needs.
  • Follow up on import documents with overseas counterparts and collect required documents from airports.
  • Take full ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks.
