Experience: 5–7 years of field sales or business development experience, preferably within the rice wholesale business.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities, with intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Traits: Data-driven mindset with the ability to take on challenges and deliver results.
Channel Development & Expansion: Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, stockists, and key wholesalers (Bepari/Aratdar) within the assigned territory to expand market coverage.
Sales Target Achievement: Drive primary and secondary sales to meet or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly volume and value targets.
Trade Operations Management: Ensure effective execution of trade schemes, manage order booking, and oversee timely collections from channel partners.
Market Intelligence & Reporting: Analyze and report wholesale business performance, competitor activities, market trends, and sales forecasts on a regular basis.
Trade Negotiation & Compliance: Negotiate trade terms, credit limits, and promotional activities with channel partners in strict compliance with company policies.
Account Management & Growth: Develop new accounts and strengthen relationships with existing distributors, wholesalers, and key institutional customers to increase market share.
Business Development: Drive overall business development and revenue growth across all assigned customer channels, including wholesale, modern trade, and institutional segments.
Market Feedback Coordination: Proactively gather and communicate market feedback on pricing, trends, and product quality to support informed management decisions.
