Executive - Commercial (Import)

Relevant experience in commercial import operations will be preferred.

Strong understanding of customs procedures, HS Code classification, and import regulations.

Oversee freight forwarding, customs clearance, and import/export shipments to ensure smooth commercial operations.

Coordinate with C&F agents, shipping lines, suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams for timely shipment handling.

Prepare and verify shipping and customs documents, ensuring accurate HS Code classification and regulatory compliance.

Track shipments, customs clearance, duty and port payments, and cargo release.

Resolve shipment delays, customs and port issues, demurrage, and damaged cargo cases.

Negotiate freight rates and identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with applicable customs, shipping, and government regulations.
