Plan, coordinate, and manage daily transportation operations for feed, DOC, frozen foods, and raw material delivery.
Source vehicles such as trucks, pickups, covered vans, and freezer vans as per operational requirements.
Negotiate rates and service agreements with transport vendors to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers, dealers, distributors, and farms.
Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, route planning, and transportation costs to improve operational efficiency.
Supervise drivers, transport staff, and third-party transport providers when required.
Maintain transportation schedules and coordinate closely with production, warehouse, and sales teams for smooth operations.
Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and compliant with legal, safety, and company standards.
Monitor GPS tracking systems and optimize delivery routes for better efficiency and reduced operational costs.
Handle transport-related documentation, permits, insurance, and regulatory compliance activities.
Investigate transportation issues, delivery delays, accidents, or customer complaints and take necessary corrective actions.
Prepare transportation reports, cost analyses, MIS reports, and performance evaluations for management review.
Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies within transportation operations.
Ensure proper loading and unloading practices to prevent product damage, wastage, and operational loss.
Maintain strong communication with internal departments and external transport service providers to ensure uninterrupted logistics support.
