Engineer/Senior Engineer, Sales (Prefabricated Steel Structure)

 

• Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in Technical Sales, Structural Design, or Project Engineering, preferably in prefabricated steel structures, steel fabrication, or construction solutions.

• Strong knowledge of market trends, customer demands, competitors, and business opportunities in the prefabricated steel and construction sector.

• Ability to conduct professional product presentations, technical discussions, and demonstrations.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a proactive approach.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with clients, consultants, internal teams, and other stakeholders.

• Strong time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and take ownership of challenging situations.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and relevant online tools for preparing quotations, proposals, presentations, reports, and business documents.

Working Conditions

• Inside Office: 30%

• Outside Office: 70%

 

• Generate business leads and project opportunities from corporate, government, public/private sector, and individual clients.

• Prepare Project Information Forms (PIF) based on customer requirements for design development and cost estimation.

• Evaluate project costs, technical feasibility, and business profitability.

• Prepare and submit technical proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.

• Communicate with customers to understand requirements and finalize design drawings.

• Coordinate with the Design Team and follow up on AB, Approval, Detailed Drawings, and other technical deliverables.

• Coordinate with the Erection Team and monitor site activities to ensure timely project completion.

• Develop new market opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships.

• Address customer requirements, queries, and project concerns through timely customer support.

• Conduct project site visits to assess site conditions and monitor progress.

• Maintain accurate project documentation and periodic progress reports for management.
