Engineer-Regional Operations

Age: 27 to 35 years.

Only male candidates are eligible to apply.

Must be flexible to work in field operations at any district or location in Bangladesh.

Experience in field implementation and operations will be highly preferred.

Lead and support field teams in resolving link-down issues and troubleshooting tickets through coordination with the Operations Center.

Conduct regular site visits to ensure employee engagement, workforce motivation, and quality service delivery.

Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for network expansion, infrastructure upgrades, and service optimization.

Perform advanced fiber optic network troubleshooting, including OTDR and power testing, splicing, and loss budgeting for both underground and overhead networks.

Assist the IP team with telco device soft checks, remote login support, ping testing, and IP/VLAN validation using F@H ONM or client platforms.

Execute telco device hard checks, including device reboots, power checks, and replacement of power cords or adapters.

Handle structured cabling (UTP with RJ-45), coaxial termination, cross-connects using Krone punchers, and E1 cable management with Balun converters.

Manage client-side access for site visits and link issue resolution by arranging required permissions, keys, or access devices for operational teams.

Communicate inconsistencies or anomalies (SCR-related) identified during field operations to the Assurance & Planning team for updates in Sentral Software.

Maintain and submit daily operational reports, including worksheets, material consumption logs, team attendance, and night/holiday bills.

Monitor and report Network Quality KPIs such as Network Availability and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure preventive maintenance of all active and passive network components to reduce fault rates and improve service reliability.

Conduct site surveys for long telco infrastructures and optimize link quality by removing excess TJBs to minimize high loss and maintenance frequency.

Identify and report Single Points of Failure (SPoF) and chain sites, and follow up for timely resolution.

Perform material adjustments in ONM software to reflect actual field usage and availability.

Resolve unforeseen local issues, including disturbances or external obstacles, while maintaining good relationships with local communities.

Oversee administrative activities related to coordination offices, including documentation, scheduling, and logistics management.

Promote workplace safety by supporting safety training and ensuring compliance with safety measures for all field personnel.
