Electrical Engineer

✔ Age: Minimum 30 years (35–45 years preferred).

✔ Extensive experience in electrical engineering for residential and commercial high-rise construction projects.

✔ Strong knowledge of BNBC, BSTI, IEC, and other applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

✔ Sound understanding of high-rise building electrical systems, including design implementation, installation, testing, and commissioning.

✔ Hands-on experience with HT/LT distribution systems, substations, transformers, generators, ATS, capacitor banks, and power distribution networks.

✔ Good knowledge of Fire Detection & Protection Systems, emergency power systems, and life safety requirements.

✔ Practical experience coordinating electrical works related to HVAC systems, lifts/elevators, CCTV, access control, intercom, and other ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems.

✔ Strong leadership, team management, planning, and decision-making skills with the ability to supervise contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

✔ Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams.

✔ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and technical project documentation.

✔ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, safety, budget, and schedule compliance.

✔ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.

✔ Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working effectively under pressure while meeting project deadlines.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, and quality assurance of electrical works for residential and commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes, project specifications, and industry standards while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

✔ Supervise and manage all electrical construction activities across residential and commercial projects to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

✔ Review electrical design drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and material submittals prior to implementation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

✔ Ensure all electrical installations comply with BNBC, BSTI, IEC, and other relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.

✔ Monitor the quality of electrical works, workmanship, and safety practices throughout the project lifecycle while maintaining strict compliance with company quality standards.

Electrical Systems Supervision

✔ Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HT/LT panels, substations, transformers, generators, ATS, capacitor banks, MDBs, SDBs, distribution boards, cable tray systems, and busbar installations.

✔ Supervise electrical wiring, lighting systems, earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intercom, and other ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems.

Coordination & Technical Support

✔ Coordinate closely with Civil, Architectural, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Safety, Lift, and Mechanical teams to ensure smooth integration of electrical works with overall project activities.

✔ Participate in client meetings, consultant discussions, and project review sessions to resolve technical issues and ensure project objectives are achieved.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover

✔ Manage testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and final handover of all electrical systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

✔ Support apartment handover activities by verifying that all electrical installations are fully functional, compliant, and ready for occupancy.

Contractor & Material Management

✔ Evaluate contractor performance, monitor work progress, and ensure project milestones are achieved within the approved schedule.

✔ Inspect electrical materials, review vendor submissions, and approve materials that meet project specifications and quality standards.

Documentation & Cost Control

✔ Prepare project progress reports, inspection reports, technical documentation, material approvals, and commissioning records.

✔ Monitor project budgets, control electrical costs, and recommend value-engineering solutions without compromising safety or quality.

Planning & Resource Management

✔ Assist management with project planning, scheduling, manpower allocation, and resource optimization to ensure successful project delivery.
