- At least 5 years of professional experience in teaching, content or training development, or educational support roles at the secondary level.
- Demonstrated expertise in monitoring student performance, curriculum design, and delivering training or support to educators.
- Familiarity with the NCTB curriculum and its application at the secondary level, or a strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to it.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both staff and students.
- Strong understanding of educational monitoring, evaluation processes, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching, learning management systems, and data analysis.

Responsibilities & Context
Position Overview
The Education Development and Monitoring Coordinator (EDMC) is responsible for leading the centralized monitoring and evaluation of student learning outcomes across all schools under the Digital School Program of JAAGO Foundation. Reporting to the Education Supervisor, this role focuses on tracking student performance, developing content and training modules, revising curriculum and assessments, and strengthening the capacity of Education Coordinators and Teachers. The position ensures that secondary-level education remains consistent, data-informed, and aligned with JAAGO’s academic standards.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Manage the overall monitoring and evaluation of student learning outcomes across all schools, ensuring consistent tracking of academic progress.
- Analyse student performance data to identify trends, gaps, and areas needing improvement across subjects.
- Collaborate with Education Coordinators and Teachers to develop and implement targeted action plans to address learning gaps.
Curriculum Development & Revision
- Work closely with the Education Supervisor and relevant stakeholders to design and update curriculum materials based on student needs.
- Create need-based teaching resources such as lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools aligned with the NCTB curriculum.
- Ensure the curriculum is inclusive, accessible, and culturally relevant.
Support for Teachers & Education Coordinators
- Deliver ongoing training and capacity-building initiatives for Education Coordinators and Teachers to enhance teaching methods, classroom management, and assessment practices.
- Organize workshops and training sessions to strengthen pedagogical skills.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback to the Education Supervisor for continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Communication
- Strengthen coordination and communication between Education Supervisors and Education Coordinators.
- Actively engage in meetings, workshops, and professional development activities to support continuous growth.
Safeguarding & Gender Sensitivity
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment across all schools through appropriate training and practices.
- Maintain compliance with JAAGO Foundation’s Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct in all educational activities.
- Integrate gender-sensitive and inclusive approaches into teaching, monitoring, and evaluation processes.
