District Team Leader (DTL)

• At least 30 years old.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in NGO health programs, specifically in female entrepreneur development and group formation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and virtual platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

• Valid driving license with the ability to operate a motorcycle for field travel.

• Strong team-building capabilities with experience conducting performance appraisals for subordinate staff.

• Demonstrated commitment to gender equality, PSEA (Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse), safeguarding, and cultural diversity.

• Adaptable and willing to perform additional duties assigned by supervisors or the Shushilan/SMC community mobilization wing.

Job Context:

Shushilan, a nationally reputed NGO, is implementing the Community Mobilization Programme (CMP) supported by SMC across Jhenaidah, Meherpur, Narail, Khulna, and Satkhira districts. The project focuses on community engagement, behavior change communication (BCC), and grassroots health promotion. It operates through structured planning, local NGO partnerships, GSM networks, and field-level interventions such as community meetings, capacity-building training, and promotional campaigns.

 Responsibilities:

• Lead overall implementation of the Community Mobilization Programme (CMP) across assigned districts to meet project targets and objectives.

• Formulate and monitor work plans, budgets, operational strategies, and reporting structures alongside the project management team.

• Provide technical guidance, operational support, and direct supervision to Upazila Supervisors, Community Mobilizers, GSMs, and field personnel.

• Conduct routine field visits to oversee program quality, troubleshoot challenges, and provide on-site coaching and staff mentoring.

• Coordinate closely with SMC representatives, including Sales Officers and Area Executives, to streamline field operations.

• Oversee maternal and child health initiatives, focusing on ANC service promotion and community mobilization efforts.
