Lab Transcriptionist

Age: 20 to 35 years

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in lab or medical transcription preferred

Strong command over medical terminology, grammar, and formatting

Proficiency in typing and working with transcription software/tools

Ability to maintain accuracy under pressure and handle confidential information

Listen to recorded dictations by lab/pathology professionals and accurately transcribe them into written documents

Review and edit transcriptions for grammar, spelling, clarity, and medical terminology

Ensure timely delivery of lab reports with minimal errors

Maintain confidentiality and integrity of patient data at all times

Coordinate with laboratory technicians and doctors for clarification or missing information

Organize and maintain digital or physical records as per organizational policy

Keep up-to-date with medical terminology and laboratory procedures
