Experience Requirements

✔ 6–9 years of relevant experience in ISP Operations, Network Operations, or Technical Operations. (Experience requirements may vary depending on the position level.)

✔ Hands-on experience in FTTx network deployment, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

✔ Strong practical experience configuring and troubleshooting MikroTik Routers.

✔ Proven experience with GPON/EPON technologies, including OLT/ONU configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.

✔ Solid understanding of wireless networking, including Point-to-Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) network deployment and management.

✔ Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, QoS, DHCP, DNS, and dynamic/static routing protocols.

✔ Familiarity with ISP CRM, ticketing systems, and network monitoring tools will be considered an added advantage.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Operations Engineer to oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and performance of our Fiber Optic (FTTx) and wireless network infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead technical operations, supervise field support activities, ensure high network availability, and coordinate technical resources to deliver reliable services to residential and corporate customers.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Operations

✔ Manage, monitor, and maintain the Fiber Optic (FTTx) network to ensure maximum uptime, stability, and service reliability.

✔ Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain OLTs, ONUs/ONTs, and passive optical network (PON) infrastructure.

✔ Monitor and maintain wireless network infrastructure, including Point-to-Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) wireless links.

✔ Coordinate and provide both remote and on-site technical support to residential and corporate customers.

✔ Diagnose and resolve escalated technical issues while ensuring resolution within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.

✔ Continuously monitor network performance, service availability, bandwidth utilization, and key service quality KPIs.

Network & Asset Management

✔ Manage the inventory of networking equipment, fiber accessories, spare parts, and technical tools.

✔ Maintain accurate records of equipment issuance, returns, repairs, and stock levels.

✔ Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and utilization of technical equipment and field tools.

Team Supervision & Operations

✔ Supervise daily technical operations, including field engineers, support staff, duty rosters, attendance, and task allocation.

✔ Monitor team performance and ensure timely completion of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.

✔ Coordinate with the Network Operations Center (NOC), Customer Support, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

✔ Support HR-related operational activities, including staff performance monitoring, technical training coordination, workforce planning, and shift scheduling for 24/7/365 operations.

Reporting & Documentation

✔ Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational, maintenance, and network performance reports.

✔ Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational records, maintenance logs, and network inventory reports.

✔ Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

✔ Perform any other technical or operational responsibilities assigned by management.
