Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in communications or branding within public health, development, or NGO sectors
Proven track record in donor relations, annual reports, crisis communication, and coordinating multiple stakeholders
Experience managing creative agencies and collaborating with international health partners is highly desirable
Job Purpose:
The Manager will oversee and coordinate communications and branding for the BRAC Health Programme, ensuring consistent messaging, strong visibility, and effective stakeholder engagement across health initiatives, donor partnerships, and government collaborations. This role will highlight programme impact and support the delivery of equitable, community-based healthcare throughout Bangladesh.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the creation and implementation of BRAC Health’s communications strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, donor requirements, and key health portfolios including TB, malaria, MNCH, NCDs, and emerging areas.
Develop and maintain a unified programme narrative across digital, print, and donor-facing channels, combining human-centered storytelling with programmatic data and evidence.
Serve as the central coordinator for all communications outputs, managing inputs, timelines, and quality across internal teams, partners, and external vendors.
Oversee the full production of communications materials, including success stories, case studies, annual and donor reports, policy briefs, campaign toolkits, and newsletters, tailored to various stakeholders.
Plan and execute national campaigns, advocacy initiatives, and policy engagement events aligned with health observances, programme milestones, and strategic objectives.
Manage media relations and external communications, including proactive engagement, message positioning, and crisis communication preparedness (e.g., rapid response protocols and holding statements).
Coordinate with the knowledge management team and central communications to ensure compliance with organizational reporting standards, learning documentation, and brand guidelines.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the protection of programme participants, staff, and all individuals interacting with the organization from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), in line with safeguarding objectives.
Act as a key resource for safeguarding guidance and expertise, promoting a safe and supportive working environment.
Advocate for safeguarding policies among team members and ensure implementation of safeguarding standards in all activities.
Follow reporting procedures for any safeguarding incidents and encourage others to do the same.
