Job Responsibilities – Deputy Head of Business (Commercial & Government)

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve established business and revenue targets.

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business expansion, increase revenue, and strengthen market presence.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government entities, and other stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.

• Conduct technical and commercial discussions with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Coordinate with design and estimation teams to develop accurate, cost-effective, and competitive project proposals.

• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients throughout different stages of project execution.

• Review project specifications with the design and estimation team to ensure alignment with industry standards, contractual requirements, and customer expectations.

• Assist in identifying and resolving technical, design, and estimation-related issues to ensure smooth project progression.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve project schedules, coordination, and overall deliverables.

• Establish quarterly and annual sales targets in line with the organisation’s overall business objectives.

• Regularly track sales performance against targets and implement corrective strategies whenever required.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and feedback to identify new business opportunities and support sustainable growth.
