Responsibilities & Context

Position Overview

Community Partners International (CPI), a U.S.-based nonprofit donor organization, is working in collaboration with its local partner Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) to expand access to quality health services and strengthen local capacity, coordination, and resources to meet community health and development needs.

Primary Responsibilities

Program Monitoring, Evaluation & Strategic Alignment

  • Lead the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) department in alignment with YPSA–CPI strategic direction and vision.

  • Review and update project indicators, M&E frameworks, and performance monitoring plans regularly.

  • Design and guide M&E strategies for existing and new programs.

  • Ensure integration of lessons learned across programs and promote organizational knowledge management.

  • Strengthen Health Information Systems using ICT and align with national health strategies.

  • Develop dashboards and strategic reporting tools to showcase program outcomes and achievements.

Data Quality, Reporting & Technical Support

  • Ensure high-quality documentation, data analysis, and reporting across programs and partners.

  • Oversee data quality management, including data collection, validation, and analysis processes.

  • Provide timely M&E inputs for program reporting to projects, donors, and stakeholders.

  • Review technical reports and provide feedback to improve data quality and performance.

  • Support ethical review processes including data collection tools, consent forms, and research protocols.

Capacity Building & Team Leadership

  • Mentor and coach M&E staff to enhance performance, productivity, and professional development.

  • Conduct training sessions on indicators, data systems, monitoring tools, and reporting standards.

  • Supervise implementation of M&E activities aligned with best practices and donor requirements.

  • Strengthen partner organizations’ M&E systems through continuous technical support.

  • Assess M&E capacity needs and design capacity-building plans for staff and partners.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Field Support

  • Conduct regular monitoring visits and perform Routine Data Quality Assessments (RDQA).

  • Facilitate evaluations, surveys, and assessments as required by programs.

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting for management decision-making.

  • Support implementation of electronic databases and data management systems.

Information Management & Organizational Learning

  • Promote a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the organization and partners.

  • Compile and analyze case studies, best practices, and evaluation findings.

  • Represent YPSA–CPI in forums, meetings, and development discussions.

  • Develop and maintain Information Management Systems and reporting protocols.

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly dashboard reports.

  • Compile project reports including quarterly, annual, and completion reports.

Partner Support & Coordination

  • Maintain regular communication with donor M&E focal points and partner organizations.

  • Strengthen partner M&E systems and ensure data quality compliance.

  • Support proposal development, including indicator design and log-frame development.

  • Assist in survey design, sampling methodologies, and questionnaire development.

Operations & Administration

  • Contribute to team work planning and cost estimation on a monthly basis.

  • Coordinate closely with program teams for operational efficiency and reporting alignment.

  • Perform any additional M&E-related tasks as required by the organization.
