Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts within a general insurance company, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CFO, Deputy CFO, or Head of Finance & Accounts).

Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, treasury, banking, and regulatory compliance.

Essential experience liaising with IDRA, NBR, VAT authorities, auditors, and financial institutions.

Sound knowledge of Insurance, Company, Tax, and VAT laws, along with IAS/IFRS standards.

Proven leadership, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.

Proficiency in ERP systems, financial software, and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the overall Finance & Accounts department, managing all accounting, financial, and treasury activities.

Prepare annual financial statements in compliance with IAS, IFRS, and relevant legal standards.

Formulate budgets, financial forecasts, and management reports for the Board and Senior Management.

Monitor cash flow, banking operations, investments, and overall financial performance while ensuring robust internal controls.

Oversee VAT, Tax, and statutory compliance, maintaining active liaison with regulatory bodies like IDRA and NBR.

Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure timely completion.

Monitor branch expenses, premium collections, and enforce financial discipline across operations.

Analyze financial results and offer strategic recommendations to improve business performance and profitability.

Provide timely financial advice across departments and support the digital transformation of accounting processes.

Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team, fulfilling any additional duties assigned by Management or the Board.
