Chemist - Feed Quality Control (QC)

Conduct chemical and physical testing of raw materials, finished feed, premixes, additives, and other feed ingredients following approved laboratory procedures.

Perform regular laboratory analysis of Moisture, Crude Protein, Crude Fat, Crude Fiber, Ash, Calcium, Phosphorus, Salt, and other relevant quality parameters.

Collect, label, and prepare samples from incoming raw materials, production batches, and finished products for laboratory testing.

Ensure accurate sample preparation, testing, calculations, documentation, and reporting of laboratory results.

Evaluate raw materials and finished feed against approved specifications and established quality standards.

Identify and report out-of-specification (OOS) results and support investigations to determine their root causes.

Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, COA-related documents, and other QC documentation.

Properly operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and testing equipment.

Ensure the safe handling, storage, and proper use of chemicals, reagents, reference materials, and laboratory consumables.

Follow all relevant SOPs, GLP, GMP, safety guidelines, and company quality policies.

Coordinate with Production, QA, Procurement, R&D, and Warehouse teams to resolve raw material and finished product quality issues.

Assist the Quality Assurance team in implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Participate in method validation, laboratory process improvements, product trials, and quality-related research activities as required.

Maintain proper laboratory cleanliness, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly laboratory reports and communicate critical quality findings to QC/QA management.

Maintain the confidentiality, accuracy, and proper control of laboratory data and test results.
