Cattle Purchase & Sales Officer

• Age must be between 24 and 40 years.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in cattle trading, livestock operations, dairy farming, sales, procurement, or agricultural businesses.
• Experience with livestock insurance, agricultural financing, or farm management systems will be an advantage.
• Prior experience in cattle purchasing, livestock trading, farm operations, or livestock value chains will be highly preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong knowledge of livestock and agriculture are encouraged to apply.
• Must possess a valid motorcycle driving license and be willing to travel extensively in rural areas.
• Strong network with livestock farmers, traders, dairy farms, and cattle markets will be preferred.
• Familiarity with mobile applications, digital reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication skills in Bangla; basic English communication skills will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with dairy farms, cattle traders, or livestock-related businesses.
• Knowledge of livestock health, nutrition, and farm management practices.
• Existing network within livestock markets and farming communities.
• Experience in agri-fintech, livestock insurance, agricultural finance, or related agricultural services will be an added advantage.

Purchase Activities

• Identify and source quality cattle from farmers, farms, and livestock markets.
• Assess cattle based on breed, age, health condition, quality, and market value.
• Negotiate purchase prices and complete procurement transactions.
• Verify ownership documents and ensure compliance with company requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of cattle purchases and procurement activities.

Sales Activities

• Identify and develop relationships with potential buyers, traders, farms, and institutional customers.
• Facilitate cattle sales and ensure smooth transaction processes.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with buyers.
• Coordinate effectively between buyers and sellers to ensure successful transactions.
• Achieve assigned monthly sales and business targets.

Farmer Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and livestock industry stakeholders.
• Promote and explain company services, including livestock insurance, financing solutions, farm management tools, and market access services.
• Support farmer onboarding and engagement activities.

Market Intelligence

• Monitor livestock market prices, trends, and competitor activities.
• Collect and report market information to support business decisions.
• Provide regular insights and recommendations to management.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity and performance reports.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales, customer interactions, and field activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and reporting requirements.
