✔ Strong practical and hands-on experience in carpentry, furniture manufacturing, woodwork, interior fabrication, and related fabrication activities.

✔ Proven ability to supervise, coordinate, and manage carpenters, fabricators, helpers, and technical/workshop/site teams effectively.

✔ Good knowledge of interior fit-out, furniture installation, finishing work, and on-site fabrication activities.

✔ Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings, furniture layouts, measurements, specifications, and design details.

✔ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle technical and site-related challenges efficiently.

We are seeking a skilled, responsible, and hands-on Carpentry & Fabrication Supervisor to oversee and coordinate carpentry, furniture manufacturing, interior fabrication, and related workshop or site-based production activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical and technical knowledge of carpentry work, furniture fabrication, interior finishing, material handling, workshop operations, and site execution. The candidate will be responsible for leading the workforce and ensuring that all assigned projects are completed with high-quality workmanship, accuracy, efficiency, and within the required timeline.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Supervise and coordinate daily carpentry, furniture production, interior fabrication, and installation activities at workshops and project sites.

✔ Read and interpret technical drawings, interior designs, measurements, layouts, specifications, and work instructions to ensure accurate execution.

✔ Lead and coordinate carpenters, fabricators, helpers, and other production workers to maintain an efficient workflow and achieve project deadlines.

✔ Monitor the quality of carpentry and fabrication work, including dimensions, measurements, alignment, finishing, fitting, and overall workmanship.

✔ Ensure proper selection, handling, storage, and efficient utilization of wood, plywood, MDF, boards, laminates, hardware, fittings, and other fabrication materials.

✔ Verify measurements, material requirements, quantities, and work estimates to minimize material wastage, rework, and unnecessary project costs.

✔ Coordinate with Interior Designers, Engineers, Project Managers, Procurement Teams, and other departments for smooth and timely project execution.

✔ Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to Management regarding work status, manpower requirements, material availability, production challenges, and potential delays.

✔ Identify technical, production, or site-related problems and implement practical and cost-effective solutions to maintain quality and project schedules.

✔ Ensure the proper operation, routine maintenance, and safe handling of carpentry tools, fabrication machinery, power tools, and workshop equipment.

✔ Maintain proper workplace discipline and ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety, workshop safety, quality control, and operational standards.

✔ Inspect completed carpentry, furniture, and fabrication work to ensure all corrections, adjustments, finishing, and installation requirements are completed before final handover.

✔ Monitor team productivity and support improvements in work quality, production efficiency, material utilization, cost control, and overall workshop performance.

✔ Maintain effective communication between the workshop, project site, workforce, and management to ensure smooth execution of assigned projects.

✔ Perform any other carpentry, fabrication, production, workshop, or site-related duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
