Skills
We are seeking a proactive, driven, and results-oriented Business Development Officer who possesses strong English communication skills along with solid technical understanding. The selected candidate will contribute significantly to promoting our software and IT services while supporting business growth and expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Conduct regular client visits, acquire new clients, and maintain strong professional relationships (experience in government sales will be given preference; exposure to banking or corporate sectors will be an added advantage).
✔ Drive sales of software products and services, including customized solutions, application development, ERP systems, and other IT-enabled services.
✔ Explore and develop new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, cold outreach, and referrals.
✔ Utilize knowledge of digital and social media marketing to support business development efforts.
✔ Manage the complete tender process, including EOI, RFP, quotation preparation, and follow-up communications.
✔ Handle government tenders through the e-GP platform while ensuring adherence to PPR guidelines.
✔ Monitor and identify tender opportunities from sources such as All Tender, Tender Bazar, Tender BD, and similar platforms.
✔ Collaborate with technical teams to understand product offerings and prepare effective proposals.
✔ Prepare and maintain monthly reports on tender status (won, lost, shortlisted, canceled, etc.).
✔ Develop daily work plans and regularly update management on progress.
✔ Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by management as needed.
