Additional Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of poultry/CPF operations, farm management, and key production indicators.
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple branches and effectively supervise Branch Managers and Field Executives.
  • Strong understanding of FCR, body weight, EEF, mortality rates, farm grading, and production costs.
  • Excellent leadership, team supervision, and farmer relationship management capabilities.
  • Ability to review operational and production reports, identify issues, and implement appropriate corrective measures.
  • Sound knowledge of inventory control, cost management, and compliance with established SOPs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willing to undertake frequent travel and perform field-based responsibilities.
  • Must possess a valid motorcycle driving license and be capable of traveling independently for field operations. 
 
 
 

Responsibilities & Context

A. Production & Operations

  • Ensure branch-level production targets are achieved, including FCR, body weight, EEF, farm grading, and production costs within the approved budget.

  • Prepare weekly chick placement plans for each branch and submit the consolidated hatch plan to management at least four days before the scheduled hatch.

  • Coordinate with Branch In-Charges and Field Executives to ensure timely and efficient farm capture and bird lifting.

  • Maintain a minimum target of 5,000 DOC per Executive per week across branches and monitor the utilization of rental farms.

  • Analyze daily flock performance reports, identify performance gaps, and support corrective actions through field visits or virtual meetings.

  • Keep daily mortality within the acceptable threshold of 0.2% and take immediate action in farms experiencing elevated mortality.

  • Monitor compliance with operational SOPs, including cleaning, disinfection, feeding, lighting, litter management, and ventilation.

  • Ensure appropriate seasonal farm management practices are implemented according to summer and winter protocols.

B. Sales, Trader Coordination & Logistics

  • Coordinate bird lifting with traders to facilitate same-day lifting or achieve the most cost-effective transportation and lifting arrangements.

  • Review daily sales, approved/RO rates, weight differences, and billing accuracy.

  • Manage trader relationships and monitor payment cycles to ensure timely cash collection and system updates.

  • Approve stock dispatches, minimize unnecessary inter-farm transportation, and maintain accurate delivery documentation.

C. Inventory & Cost Control

  • Ensure adequate availability of vaccines, medicines, equipment, and other essential supplies across all branches.

  • Monitor branch-level inventory and ensure proper compliance with FIFO procedures and hygiene standards.

  • Compare product consumption with approved budgets and identify opportunities for operational cost reduction.

  • Review petty cash utilization and verify the validity and supporting documents of related expenses.

D. People Management & Farmer Engagement

  • Supervise branch executive deployment, leave management, employee performance, and field visit activities.

  • Organize and facilitate training for field teams on technical practices, SOPs, and seasonal farm management.

  • Conduct regular meetings with farmers, address their concerns, and strengthen farmer relationships to minimize dropouts.

  • Support branches in improving the performance of E/F-grade farms and encourage high-performing farmers through appropriate recognition.

  • Promote staff and trader motivation by facilitating recognition of outstanding performance.

E. Reporting, Documentation & Market Intelligence

  • Maintain consolidated and up-to-date information on chick placement, flock performance, production costs, mortality, and farm grades.

  • Review, verify, and approve branch-level operational and performance reports.

  • Monitor competitor activities and provide management with relevant local market trends and business insights.

  • Ensure proper maintenance and accuracy of essential documents, including agreements, stock reports, vaccination records, farm audit reports, and other operational documentation.
