Position Summary:
The Bar Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient staff performance, and profitability. This role includes inventory management, cost control, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The Bar Manager recruits, trains, and supervises staff, develops drink menus, and maintains consistency in beverage quality and presentation. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and knowledge of mixology and industry trends are essential to drive customer satisfaction and business success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Bar Operations & Staff Management

  • Oversee daily bar operations and supervise bar staff according to established policies and procedures
  • Create a positive and professional work environment for bar staff
  • Provide regular feedback, coaching, and training to team members
  • Ensure staff skills are continuously developed through training programs
  • Treat all team members fairly and respectfully
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to review procedures and gather feedback
  • Delegate duties effectively and follow up on performance

Customer Service & Guest Experience

  • Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Handle guest complaints efficiently and professionally
  • Take ownership of operational issues and resolve them proactively
