Responsibilities & Context

Applications are invited for the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology (FSET) at USTC, under the university’s prevailing terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in accordance with USTC policies.
  • Conduct research, organize faculty workshops, and foster national and international academic collaborations.
  • Maintain necessary documentation as required by UGC, BAC, BAETE, and other relevant authorities.
  • Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, lecture materials, tutorials, and schedules; and deliver theoretical, tutorial, and laboratory classes, along with extension teaching, research, and fieldwork.
  • Administer examinations and perform related duties.
  • Supervise and guide students in projects, internships, dissertations, and theses.
  • Mentor students in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
  • Perform administrative duties assigned by the কর্তৃপক্ষ from time to time.
  • Ensure academic discipline and standards, address student affairs, and fulfill responsibilities in line with the Private University Act 2010.
  • Engage in research and innovation, including publications, to advance knowledge in the relevant field.
