Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager- Hardlines Lab (Chemical & Mechanical), Gazipur

 

• Education: Graduation/Post Graduation in Chemistry, Physics, Textile, or a relevant discipline from a reputed university.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in laboratory operations.

• Training/awareness on ISO 17025 standards.

• Technical training on test methods.

• Training in audit preparation and readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify that test requisitions and samples are complete and adequate according to SOPs, testing methods, and client requirements before laboratory submission.

• Coordinate with laboratory staff regarding testing requirements and related activities.

• Oversee the technical operations of the laboratory to ensure smooth and effective functioning.

• Follow up on correlation exercises and ensure testing activities meet the required turnaround time and technical standards.

• Receive and investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions.

• Ensure required laboratory environmental conditions are properly maintained.

• Maintain good laboratory housekeeping, cleanliness, and overall work standards.
