Assistant Manager/Associate Manager, Audit & Inspection, Internal Control & Compliance Division

Job Purpose

To conduct effective internal audits and investigations under the supervision of the Team Leader across the Bank’s branches, priority centers, agent banking outlets, Head Office divisions, departments, units, foreign exchange operations, key risk areas, and subsidiaries in accordance with the annual audit plan and instructions from the Head of Audit & Inspection.

Key Responsibilities

• Add value to the Bank’s operations by conducting objective-based audits, investigations, and consultancy activities.
• Support the Bank in achieving its objectives through a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance processes.
• Identify audit findings, document facts and irregularities uncovered during audit activities, and prepare comprehensive reports for submission to the Team Leader.
• Execute assigned audit and inspection procedures in accordance with the approved audit program, ensuring effective coverage of all relevant auditable areas.
• Prepare accurate and timely audit and inspection reports, highlighting identified risks, control weaknesses, non-compliance issues, and recommendations for improvement.
