  • Minimum 6 to 12 years of proven experience in software sales / IT solution sales is mandatory
  • Strong hands-on experience in selling ERP, HRMS, Mobile Applications, Website Development, Digital Marketing, SEO, eCommerce, or enterprise software solutions
  • Demonstrated success in B2B software sales and IT-enabled product/service sales
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and corporate client handling skills
  • Strong ability to work in a team-oriented environment and consistently achieve sales targets and KPIs
  • Experience in proposal writing, tender documentation, and large-scale IT project bidding
  • Established and active professional network within corporate and government sectors
  • Strong proficiency in English communication (both verbal and written) is mandatory
  • Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and performance-focused with a proven sales achievement record
  • Familiarity with the e-GP (Electronic Government Procurement) system will be considered an added advantage
  • Prior experience in software / ERP sales will be given strong preference
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting, analysis, and presentations

Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven, and result-oriented Assistant Manager / Manager – Business Development to join our expanding team at One Umbrella IT Limited. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in software sales, B2B business development, and client relationship management, with the ability to handle the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research and industry analysis to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the software and IT sector
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while contributing to overall revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with corporate and government clients, including ministries, public agencies, and large enterprises
  • Provide dedicated after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and encourage repeat business and retention
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts, reports, and business development strategies to senior management
  • Identify, engage, and convert potential clients by understanding their requirements and offering tailored software and IT solutions
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and successful deal closure
  • Prepare and submit tender documents (EOI, RFP, RFQ, etc.) in compliance with client and regulatory requirements
  • Generate qualified leads through research, professional networking, and industry connections
  • Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and software demonstrations to showcase solutions effectively
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to position products strategically
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasting reports, and CRM updates for management review
  • Follow up on bids, proposals, and client communications to ensure timely responses and successful conversions
