Requirements:
Experience in the glass industry, particularly in manufacturing and glass processing operations.
Demonstrated capability to manage and lead large production teams within a factory setting.
Hands-on experience in production planning, line balancing, and optimizing capacity utilization.
Strong knowledge of cost control, quality assurance, defect reduction, and productivity enhancement techniques.
Awareness of Bangladesh’s factory labor laws.
Ability to prepare, interpret, and analyze production reports.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills on the production floor.
Effective communication and coordination skills for smooth team collaboration.
Willingness to work extended hours and manage high-pressure situations during peak production periods.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing production planning, workforce deployment, process standardization, and quality control across manufacturing operations, ensuring that all production systems comply with operational safety and regulatory standards.
Production Planning:
Initiate and supervise daily production activities for edging machines, drilling machines, washing machines, and tempered furnace operations to ensure smooth start-up and uninterrupted manufacturing.
Execute daily production plans in line with operational targets.
Coordination and Communication:
Maintain close coordination with floor in-charges, furnace operators, delivery in-charges, and management to ensure seamless workflow and operational alignment.
Organize and coordinate operators’ activities to ensure optimal manpower utilization and consistent production performance.
Monitoring:
Track daily production output, machine efficiency, and workforce productivity to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Oversee and monitor the delivery process to ensure timely dispatch.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure the tempered glass meets required quality standards.
