Animal Nutritionist (Part-time)

Strong academic and practical knowledge of animal & fish nutrition, feed formulation, and feed ingredients.

Good understanding of protein, energy, fat, fiber, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, feed additives, and other essential nutritional requirements.

• Strong knowledge of Feed Formulation and Animal/Fish Nutrition.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to interpret and analyze nutritional and laboratory data.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Good skills in report writing and documentation.

• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with feed formulation software will be an advantage.

• Willingness to work at feed mills and conduct field visits when required.

Develop and optimize feed formulations for fish, cattle, and poultry based on species, age, breed, growth stage, and production needs.

Maintain appropriate levels of protein, energy, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, fat, fiber, and other essential nutrients.

Evaluate feed ingredients based on their nutritional value, quality, availability, and cost.

Collaborate with the QC/Laboratory team for raw material testing and nutritional assessment.

Develop cost-effective formulations while maintaining required nutritional and quality standards.

Monitor feed performance through FCR, growth, milk, egg, and meat production and other relevant indicators.

Conduct feed and field trials to evaluate new formulations, ingredients, and additives.

Research and recommend suitable enzymes, probiotics, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and alternative raw materials.

Provide nutritional and technical support to Production, QC, Sales, Marketing, and Technical Service teams.

Develop feeding guidelines and provide technical advice to farmers, dealers, and customers.

Monitor market trends, competitor products, new ingredients, and emerging technologies in animal nutrition.

Ensure formulations comply with applicable feed safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

Prepare formulation, trial, technical, and nutrition-related reports for management.

Coordinate with Production to ensure approved formulations are properly implemented during commercial production.

Identify nutritional issues affecting animal or fish performance and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
