Additional Requirements

Education / Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Professional accounting certifications (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA) are preferred.

Language Skills:

  • Business fluency in English and Bangla.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial and administrative management.

  • Experience with donor-funded projects (INGO, ILO, UN, or similar) is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong financial management, budgeting, and reporting skills.

  • Knowledge of public financial management systems in Bangladesh.

  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and administrative abilities.

  • Fluency in both Bangla and English.


Responsibilities & Context

A. Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage the SSU budget, ensuring compliance with stakeholder and MoLE financial procedures.

  • Process payments, reimbursements, and DSA calculations accurately.

  • Maintain precise financial records and prepare periodic expenditure reports.

B. Administrative Support

  • Manage procurement processes in line with relevant policies and guidelines.

  • Coordinate logistics for workshops, meetings, and training sessions.

  • Handle travel arrangements, visa processing, and other logistical support for official travel.

C. Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure timely submission of financial and administrative reports to stakeholders.

  • Maintain records of contracts, MoUs, and agreements.

  • Support audits and compliance checks as required.

D. Coordination & Office Management

  • Liaise with INO and stakeholder finance and administration teams for approvals and reporting.

  • Provide administrative support to technical staff within SSU.
