Executive/ Senior Executive - Business Development

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and results-oriented Executive / Senior Executive – Business Development to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in software and IT solution sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage the complete sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—while building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell software solutions and IT-enabled services, including ERP, HRMS, Mobile Applications, Website Development, Digital Marketing, SEO, eCommerce Solutions, and other enterprise software products.
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities through strategic planning, market research, networking, and industry connections.
Manage corporate, government, and institutional clients, including ministries, government agencies, autonomous bodies, and large enterprises.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts, business development plans, and growth strategies to top management.
Generate qualified leads through market analysis, cold calling, referrals, digital channels, networking events, and business partnerships.
Conduct client meetings, product presentations, demonstrations, and solution consultations to understand business requirements and propose suitable software solutions.
Manage the entire sales lifecycle, including lead generation, requirement analysis, proposal preparation, negotiation, contract finalization, and project handover.
Develop customized business proposals, quotations, and solution presentations tailored to client needs.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer demands, competitor activities, and new growth opportunities.
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining profitability objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional pre-sales and after-sales support.
Collaborate closely with technical, project management, and support teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, client communications, forecasts, and pipeline status within CRM systems.
Prepare regular sales reports, performance analyses, and business development updates for management review.
Follow up on bids, tenders, proposals, and client communications to maximize conversion opportunities.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings to effectively position company products and services in the marketplace.
Represent the company at business meetings, networking events, exhibitions, seminars, and industry conferences as required.
Perform any additional business development and sales-related responsibilities assigned by management.
