Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited

Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited is one of Bangladesh’s top pharmaceutical manufacturers and exporters. Established in 1976, the company initially began by importing and marketing products from Bayer (Germany) and Upjohn (USA). In 1980, it started producing these under license, and by 1983, launched its own branded formulations. Since then, Beximco Pharma has steadily evolved into a prominent global generic pharmaceutical company. Its production facilities are certified by major international regulatory bodies, and its products are exported to over 50 countries, including the USA, Europe, Canada, and Australia. The company has won the National Export (Gold) Trophy five times and is the only Bangladeshi firm to receive the SCRIP Award for "Best Pharma Company in an Emerging Market" and the CPhI Pharma Award 2020 for "Innovation in Response to COVID-19." It is also uniquely recognized as the only Bangladeshi company listed on the AIM of the London Stock Exchange.
