AB Power Engineering Ltd.

AB Power Engineering Ltd. is a leading power engineering company in Bangladesh, established in 1969 (originally as Bangladesh Technical). The company was enlisted as PBD Class-1 and later, in 1980, enlisted for REB line construction. In 2007, it was restructured as AB Power Engineering under a partnership model. By 2014, AB Power Engineering Ltd. became part of a group of companies, including AB Power Engineering Ltd., AB Garments Accessories Ltd., and AB Pharma.

The company was founded by Engineer M. I. Mazumder, an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers and former GM of REB/PBS. Currently, Mr. Anisuzzaman serves as the Managing Director, while Mr. Golam Mortoza, retired Senior General Manager of REB/PBS, is the Chairman of AB Group.
