Trainee Cash Officer

Job Context:
Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC is seeking motivated and responsible graduates to join as Trainee Cash Officer. The role involves handling cash-related banking operations, ensuring accurate transactions, providing quality customer service, and maintaining compliance with banking policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle daily cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Receive and disburse cash while following the bank’s prescribed procedures.
• Verify cash, transaction documents, and customer information before processing transactions.
• Assist customers with cash deposits, withdrawals, and other counter-related services.
• Maintain accurate records of cash transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Balance cash at the end of the day and report any discrepancies to the appropriate authority.
• Follow all banking policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure proper handling and security of cash and other sensitive documents.
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues in Bangla and English.
• Support branch operations and assist other team members when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and transaction-related information.
• Perform any other cash management or banking duties assigned by management.
