• Oversee and monitor the day-to-day finance and accounting activities of the team.
• Prepare annual financial statements for presentation to the Board and for statutory audits.
• Develop actual and projected cash flow statements to support financial planning.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly financial statements in a timely manner.
• Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and alignment with company policies, in consultation with the line manager.
• Manage treasury operations, including handling Letters of Credit (L/C).
• aintain effective communication with banks, financial institutions, and investors to manage relationships and negotiate favorable terms, in coordination with the line manager.
• Generate various financial reports for management decision-making.
• Ensure proper tracking and control of fixed assets, including conducting physical verification in accordance with the Accounts Manual.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, business plan, and work plan.
• Establish and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
