Senior Executive – Commercial (Customs & Bond – Woven Textile UP)

• Mandatory experience in the garments, woven textile, or manufacturing sector.

Essential Skills

Strong knowledge of:

• Bangladesh Customs Act and Rules

• Bond Licensing procedures

• Import and Export procedures

• UD and UP management

• Bill of Entry (BOE) and Bill of Export

• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Position Summary:

The position will oversee customs, bond management, import-export documentation, and regulatory compliance activities within a textile/garments manufacturing company. The role is responsible for ensuring timely customs clearance, maintaining proper bond compliance, and coordinating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth and uninterrupted production and export operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Customs Bond operations in compliance with Bangladesh Customs and Bond regulations.

• Prepare and process import and export documentation, including L/C, EXP, IP, Bill of Entry, Bill of Export, and related documents.

• Maintain regular communication and coordination with Customs and the Bond Commissionerate.

• Monitor bond licenses, Customs audits, UD, Woven Textile UP, bond registers, and stock reconciliation activities.

• Ensure the timely and efficient clearance of imported materials.

• Maintain compliance with applicable Customs, Bond, and incentive-related requirements.

• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial departments to ensure smooth operations.

• Prepare necessary reports and organize documentation required for Customs audits.

• Identify and resolve operational issues related to Customs and Bond activities.
