Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Supply Chain Management.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management.
A Diploma in Supply Chain Management will be given preference.
Foreign qualifications related to supply chain management will also be preferred.
Oversee the entire supply chain process, from planning to execution, to enhance internal efficiency and reduce costs. Develop and implement procurement strategies for both local and international sourcing. Manage the selection and sourcing process for local and global suppliers. Negotiate international contracts, including pricing agreements and Incoterms. Communicate with overseas suppliers to resolve issues related to order status, quality, and shipments. Design and execute cost-effective procurement strategies that align with business goals. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to create accurate demand forecasts. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure they meet company standards. Manage sourcing risks and ensure the timely availability of materials. Supervise order processing, pricing, and customer service to ensure high satisfaction levels. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers. Work closely with production planning to ensure supply chain objectives are aligned with operations. Ensure production meets demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Troubleshoot and resolve any production-related issues that may impact supply chain flow. Create strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce inventory holding costs. Perform regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy. Utilize inventory management systems to track and manage stock movements. Coordinate with production teams to forecast and plan for inventory requirements. Stay updated with market trends and adjust procurement strategies as necessary
