Head of Compliance (AVP-FVP), Internal Control & Compliance Division

Ensure the Bank's compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, the Bank Company Act, applicable laws, regulatory circulars, and internal policies.

Develop, implement, and continuously enhance the Bank's Compliance Management Framework to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate compliance risks.

Monitor the timely resolution of findings raised by Internal Inspection, Bangladesh Bank, External Audit, and other regulatory examinations, ensuring effective corrective actions.

Review, update, and recommend compliance policies, manuals, procedures, and guidelines in line with regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Oversee the preparation and timely submission of compliance reports, regulatory returns, and official responses to Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory authorities.

Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments and recommend preventive and corrective measures to minimize regulatory, operational, and reputational risks.

Provide compliance advisory and regulatory guidance to Head Office divisions, Branches, and Sub-Branches to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Plan and deliver compliance awareness programs, workshops, and training sessions to strengthen employees' regulatory knowledge and foster a strong compliance culture.

Prepare and present periodic compliance reports, key regulatory issues, compliance status updates, and risk assessments to Senior Management, the Audit Committee, and the Board of Directors.

Lead, mentor, and develop the Compliance team by ensuring effective resource planning, performance management, capability development, and continuous improvement of the Bank's compliance framework.
