Chief Finance Officer

✔ Age: 50 to 60 years.

✔ Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) is mandatory.

✔ Additional professional qualifications such as ACA, FCA, ACCA, CMA, FCMA, or equivalent will be considered a strong advantage.

✔ Minimum 15 years of professional experience in Finance & Accounts, with extensive exposure to corporate financial management.

✔ At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role such as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Head of Finance, Financial Controller, or General Manager (Finance & Accounts).

✔ 15–20 years of proven senior leadership experience across diversified business organizations.

✔ Prior experience in the Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, or Developer sector will be given strong preference.

✔ Proven expertise in Corporate Finance, Project Financing, Treasury Management, Budgeting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Taxation, VAT, Internal Controls, Risk Management, and Statutory Compliance.

✔ Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS/IAS (or BFRS), Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting, Income Tax, VAT, Companies Act, RJSC compliance, and other regulatory requirements.

✔ Strong understanding of project costing, manufacturing cost control, project financing, group consolidation, investment analysis, and financial performance management.

✔ Hands-on experience with ERP systems, financial management software, and digital finance transformation initiatives.

✔ Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies that support sustainable business growth and profitability.

✔ Strong leadership, strategic thinking, business planning, and decision-making capabilities.

✔ Excellent analytical, financial modeling, negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

✔ High level of integrity, professionalism, corporate governance, and ethical business conduct.

✔ Strong report writing, drafting, and business communication skills.

✔ Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.

Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Responsibilities

✔ Lead and oversee the Group's overall Finance, Accounts, Tax, VAT, Treasury, Internal Audit, Budgeting, and Financial Management functions.

✔ Develop and implement the Group's financial strategy in alignment with corporate vision, business objectives, and long-term growth plans.

✔ Establish and strengthen financial policies, internal control systems, governance frameworks, and risk management practices to ensure transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency.

✔ Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

✔ Manage funding, treasury operations, cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and capital allocation to ensure optimal utilization of financial resources.

✔ Supervise the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, consolidated accounts, management reports (MIS), and Board reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

✔ Provide strategic financial advice and business insights to the Board of Directors and Senior Management to support investment decisions, business expansion, and corporate growth.

✔ Present financial performance, business forecasts, and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.

✔ Drive cost optimization initiatives, profitability improvement, financial risk mitigation, and investment analysis to maximize shareholder value.

✔ Monitor project costing, financial feasibility, profitability analysis, capital expenditure, and overall business performance across all Group companies.

✔ Ensure full compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, VAT laws, RJSC requirements, Bangladesh Bank regulations (where applicable), Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS), and other statutory and regulatory requirements.

✔ Coordinate effectively with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, financial institutions, investors, regulatory authorities, and government agencies.

✔ Lead ERP implementation, financial process automation, digital transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement across finance operations.

✔ Develop, mentor, and lead high-performing Finance & Accounts teams across all Group entities through effective leadership, coaching, succession planning, and performance management.

✔ Prepare long-term financial plans, investment strategies, business expansion models, and corporate financing recommendations.

✔ Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, financing opportunities, and strategic investment proposals from a financial perspective.

✔ Ensure effective corporate governance, financial discipline, ethical business practices, and sound internal financial controls throughout the organization.

✔ Perform any other strategic financial, corporate, or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Management or Board of Directors.
