Audit / Credit Recovery Executive

• 3–5 years of experience in credit recovery, collections, or a similar role.

• Strong negotiation, persuasion, active listening, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional and customer-focused approach.

• Proficiency in collections software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to manage challenging customer interactions with patience, tact, and professionalism.

• Good understanding of credit management practices, debt recovery regulations, and relevant legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitored customer accounts to identify overdue payments and managed debt recovery activities to improve collections.

• Conducted financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Identified financial risks, operational inefficiencies, and internal control gaps while recommending practical corrective measures.

• Communicated with delinquent customers through calls, emails, and field visits to negotiate payment terms, settlements, and repayment plans.

• Investigated payment discrepancies, resolved billing issues, and traced outstanding debtors to ensure timely recovery.

• Maintained accurate records of customer communications, payment commitments, and collection activities within the system.

• Ensured all collection and recovery processes complied with company policies, legal standards, and industry regulations.

• Monitored collection performance and prepared regular reports and updates for management review.
