During office hours, we will provide training, and you will also be expected to work on real, practical office tasks.
If you already have experience in the following areas, that will be an advantage—but if not, don't worry. You will receive training from the ground up.
You will learn the fundamentals of visual design, including color theory, typography, layout, and spacing.
You will be taught how to conduct user experience (UX) research and design user journeys.
Training will include everything from basic to advanced tools in Figma, for wireframing and prototyping.
You will also learn illustration—from basic to advanced levels—to create custom images.
We will teach you how to build a design system for production-level designs.
You will learn how to make your designs responsive across various devices.
There will be collaborative training on how to work effectively with both developers and design teams, and how to integrate your work into a shared system.
Special focus will be given to helping you build your personal portfolio.
