  • This job follows a rotational shift pattern: 2 nights, 2 evenings, and 2 morning shifts per week. The ideal candidate must be physically and mentally fit to perform shift duties.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Quality Assurance or Quality Control department within the chemical industry

Responsibilities & Context

  • We, Samuda Chemical Complex Limited, are a leading chemical manufacturing company in the country. We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, goal-oriented, and visionary future leader to join our Quality Assurance team as a Shift Chemist.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare volumetric and test solutions and perform standardization.
  • Calibrate and check the performance of laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, or report malfunctions.
  • Test and analyze day-to-day received samples from in-process operations.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory health and safety guidelines.
  • Perform method development, validation, and verification activities.
  • Prepare daily in-process findings and submit them to the supervisor.
  • Ensure that all reagent and chemical status labels are updated and that approved storage conditions are maintained.
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by management as needed.
