Experience 1 to 3 years The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Hotel, Diagnostic Centre, Clinic, Departmental store, Chamber, Healthcare Startup Additional Requirements 02 years working experience in relevant field. Experience in hospital store may be given preference. Familiarity with inventory management systems or hospital software. Strong numerical and record-keeping skills. Good knowledge of stock management practices and basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Receive, inspect, and verify the quantity and quality of all incoming goods and materials.

  • Maintain an organized storage area and ensure safe and hygienic storage practices.

  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams for smooth operations.

  • Record all stock movements (inbound and outbound) using inventory management software.

  • Issue supplies to departments based on approved requisitions, ensuring proper documentation and stock control.

  • Monitor stock levels regularly to avoid overstocking or stock outs; initiate timely reorder requests.

  • Conduct routine stock audits and physical inventory checks; reconcile discrepancies with records.

  • Maintain accurate stock registers, and purchase records.

  • Coordinate with the purchasing department for delivery follow-ups and vendor communications.

  • Ensure all perishable items are stored at the correct temperature and used before expiry.

  • Comply with health and safety regulations, especially in storing chemicals, and fragile items.

  • Generate and submit daily/weekly/monthly inventory and consumption reports to management.

  • Prevent misuse, theft, or damage of store items by enforcing strict stock control measures.

  • Report immediately regarding any adverse situation.

  • Perform all other related duties.
