Age: Between 25 to 35 years
At least 4 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry.
Ability to work under pressure, learn quickly, and take on responsibility.
Skilled in managing logistics operations using well-known software such as CargoWise One (CW1), Cargoaim, Logsol, and Transport Order Management System (TOM).
Certification as a CargoWise operator or equivalent software certification.
Booking Management: Receive and oversee bookings from shippers, ensuring that arrangements are made promptly and align with the consignee’s requirements.
Carrier Coordination: Manage the booking procedures with various carriers, utilizing platforms like Cargoaim, Cargowise, or similar software and online tools for seamless operations.
Document Preparation: Handle and prepare critical shipping documentation such as HBL, FCR, shipment advisories, debit and credit notes, and necessary freight certificates.
B/L Handling: Prepare and process Bills of Lading (B/L), submit drafts to carriers via online shipping/forwarding platforms, ensuring all details are accurate before final approval.
Security Filing Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of global security filing processes, ensuring timely submission for international shipments, such as:
AMS (Regular & FROB) for USA/Canada
E-Manifest for Canada
ICS2 for European shipments
Proactively monitoring responses and addressing filing issues.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure necessary documentation is filed in compliance with regulations, including submitting the Export General Manifest (EGM) as required by the shipment.
Pre-Alert Communication: Notify buyers and agents in advance about upcoming shipments through pre-alerts.
Original B/L Management: Handle the issuance and surrender of original Bills of Lading (B/L), confirming bank NOC where applicable, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
Tracking and Monitoring: Track container statuses and mother vessel connections, and keep stakeholders updated regarding any changes to the schedules.
