  • Six-months training certification from Bangladesh Fire Services & Civil Defense.
  • Should have sound knowledge on detection & Protection system as per BNBC/NFPA, RSC Standard.
  • Should have knowledge of the design & drawing of FADS & SUPS as per RSC Standard.
  • Strong knowledge of firefighting equipment and evacuation procedures.
  • Sound knowledge in MS office.
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure that all fire safety personnel and equipment are fully operational and duties are performed in accordance with established requirements.
  • Maintain and implement the Fire Safety Plan (FSP), focusing on fire prevention and exposure control.
  • Oversee the maintenance and functionality of the Fire Detection and Fire Protection Systems in compliance with NFPA checklist standards.
  • Organize and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly fire safety training and awareness programs as per the scheduled plan.
  • Regularly monitor, inspect, and verify all firefighting equipment and systems in line with RSC standards.
  • Evaluate accident risks and the adequacy of existing safety and preventive measures across all units and projects.
  • Provide expert recommendations on fire safety, compliance, and preventive actions, and lead implementation upon management approval.
  • Identify hazardous conditions and ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.
  • Perform regular testing and maintenance of all firefighting systems, identify weaknesses, and lead continuous improvements.
  • Maintain official liaison with the local Fire Service & Civil Defense, police departments, hospitals, and other emergency response organizations.
  • Lead Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) sessions and ensure all tasks are followed according to schedule.
  • Conduct both regular and unannounced safety inspections to ensure full compliance with organizational safety policies.
  • Maintain detailed records and support the relevant managers in implementing corrective actions based on safety audit findings.
  • Organize and conduct internal fire and evacuation drills (both day and night) and support external drills.
  • Establish and update fire response teams in line with operational requirements.
  • Supervise, monitor, and provide independent guidance to the fire safety team.
  • Implement buyer-specific fire safety standards and requirements.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
