To deliver technical guidance and ensure effective field-level implementation of climate-smart agriculture projects aimed at improving productivity and resilience. The role involves promoting, demonstrating, and scaling up climate-resilient farming methods, enabling farmers to adopt sustainable practices that enhance livelihoods and food security.
Provide technical assistance for standing crops through regular field visits, supervision, and monitoring of ongoing activities.
Organize and facilitate training, orientations, and refresher sessions to strengthen participants’ technical capacity.
Promote and disseminate climate-resilient agricultural technologies among farmers.
Identify eligible programme participants and prepare relevant reports such as crop-cutting and cost–benefit analyses.
Lead awareness and capacity-building initiatives on climate-smart farming practices.
Manage the distribution of agricultural inputs and materials for adaptive farming activities.
Build and maintain effective relationships with farmers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and results.
Develop partnerships and networks with local stakeholders to expand programme reach and ensure sustainability.
Support monitoring, reporting, and overall management of field-level activities.
Ensure the protection of programme participants, community members, and staff from harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation—including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA)—in line with BRAC’s safeguarding goals.
Promote and uphold BRAC’s safeguarding policies and standards in all operations and team activities.
Report and encourage the reporting of any safeguarding concerns according to established procedures.
