Additional Requirements


  • Medical doctor with a current unrestricted license to practice in Bangladesh from the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council.
  • Direct clinical experience (patient-facing) of at least 3 years in hospitals or clinics (post internship). Ideally a specialist (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Infectious Diseases) but could also be a General Practitioner, provided he/she meets other requirements.
  • Digitally sound and Tech savvy. Has strong interest for using technologies to improve health outcomes. Familiar with common health-related software e.g. Electronic Health Records. Actual experience in telemedicine is considered a plus.
  • Has leadership experience and management responsibilities of people, etc. E.g, Head of Department, etc.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Doctor team leadership and management- responsible for recruiting, training, performance assessment, and feedback of doctors and paramedics practicing under the MILVIK service.
  • Medical and quality assurance- responsible for Quality Assurance of service delivery of all mHealth activities (ie, teleconsultations, Health programs, offline services), ensuring adherence to Milvik's medical protocol and clinical guidance to the team. The Chief Medical Officer also sets and ensures high standards of patient service and empathy are always followed.
  • Customer Experience - responsible for ensuring best practices to achieve Customer Satisfaction Scores for both Audio and Video consultations.
  • Service and content design - contributes to product and service design with the Product Team, proactively finds and leads initiatives that will improve patient journeys and generate medical content that adds value to Milvik's patients.
  • Regulatory engagement works with Top Management and Legal Counsel to lead regulatory and Governance, Risk management and Compliance efforts and engagements in the market.
  • Participation in the Global Health Community - actively participates in Milvik's community of Senior Health Professionals around the world.
  • Reporting and Performance Visibility- Ensure periodical reporting as per Milvik's practice based on KPIs and strategic performance goals.
