Experience
Achieve targeted seed potato production through contract growers or leased land.
Preference given to candidates with experience in contract farming for seed potato production.
Select production blocks for seed potatoes based on land quality, irrigation, and drainage conditions.
Prepare and submit block approval documents to the supervisor on time.
Organize meetings with farmers and finalize agreements with contract growers.
Distribute inputs to contract growers accurately and punctually.
Conduct regular field visits and provide technical assistance to contract growers.
Maintain a spray schedule for fungicides and insecticides to ensure seed potato quality.
Ensure contract growers produce high-quality seed potatoes.
Oversee proper field curing, shade curing, sorting, and grading of seed potatoes.
Ensure proper roughing of seed potato fields.
Manage smooth collection and storage of seed potatoes.
Collect and regularly update data on farmers and seed potato fields.
Keep stock and documentation up to date.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
